One of the many neighborhoods that make up greater Towson, Maryland is Wiltondale, a tree-lined enclave that once was a horse farm and is named after a thoroughbred trotting horse that was stabled on the land where this community now sits. While you won’t see horses trotting in the neighborhood any more, the quaint, tree-lined streets of Wiltondale are home to about 350 houses that are walkable to downtown Towson and its many amenities.
Wiltondale has a great community pool, which serves as a gathering place for neighbors in the summer months, and a nature trail where a private community-maintained park and playground are situated along a portion of a Herring Run tributary.
Residents of Wiltondale have an easy commute into Baltimore City and into downtown Towson alike, given its location just outside of the northern city limits of Baltimore.
